◈ On January 24, WTO (Secretary General Roberto Azevedo) issued the certification* approving the schedule of concessions of tariff rate on rice submitted by Korea on September 30, 2014.

* The certification of WTO officially approves that WTO process on tariff rate of Korean rice (513%) has been completed and confirmed.

❍ This WTO certification has been issued after five countries (US, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia) have completed the verification of rice tariff and withdrawn all objections (January 14, 2020). This confirmed Korea's rice tariff rate of 513% as tariff with WTO's consession.
