○ In order to thoroughly implement the quarantine measures in each farm announced on March 16, a letter of the Minister has been sent to pig farms (6,300 farms).

 

- To prevent the influx of viruses by medium, vehicles, and humans, which are the main propagation factors, thorough prevention and control are urged on pig farms.

 

○ Designated dedicated consultants (955 people) for 6,300 pig farms nationwide, and conducted consulting to complete measures to prevent and control outbreaks in pig farms

 

○ On the nationwide simultaneous sterilization day (March 18), all livestock related facilities such as slaughterhouses and manure treatment facilities were disinfected.
