◈ The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced that it placed an import ban on German pork and pork products following the announcement of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL) that African Swine Fever (ASF) has been confirmed as a result of testing a wild boar found in Brandenburg. ❍ The import ban will be applied on shipping from September 10, which is the ASF confirmed date, and shipments that have arrived or to arrive in Korea will be tested for ASF, then taken according to the results.
