◈ The export of grapes, promoted as one of major export products by MAFRA, reached all-time high amid Covid-19 thanks to the adoption of precooling and cold chain system and various marketing activities of MAFRA
* $30,742,000 in 2020 (up 34.7% year-on-year), $7,227,000 in 2021 (up 49.5% year-on-year)
○ Particularly, long-term storage technology extended the export period from January to March, enabling 30% increase in export price compared to that of the original export season (November to January of the following year), contributing to increased farmers’ income.
○ This year, MAFRA plans to continue the high export trend of grapes with further distribution of long-term storage technology, adoption of check-price system and stringent quality management.
