A Pop-up Space at Seongsu Station Exhibits Floury Rice-based Baked Goods Made with New Recipes by 102 Bakeries
Sejong, 19 June 2025— From 20 to 21 June at Nova Portal in front of exit 3 of Seongsu Station (address: 116, Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul), the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA), Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), and Korea Bakery Association (KBA) will run a pop-up space for exhibiting floury rice-based baked goods made with new recipes by 102 bakeries from across the nation.
The exhibition space presents floury rice-based baked goods awarded prizes—the Prize of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Prize of the President of Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and the Prize of the President of Korea Bakery Association—at a contest for the best floury rice-based baked goods held on 10 June. The agriculture minister’s prize was given to chocolat hazelnut pastry, nut sticks, and fig butter and milk.
In the meantime, the MAFRA will hold an event for a bread-tasting tour from 23 June to 30 November. A consumer purchasing floury rice-baked goods valued at KRW 20,000 or more at a bakery selling them will be given a key ring as a gift. The MAFRA will also open a contest for the best short-form videos about a tour for tasting floury rice-based bread. At the contest, the MAFRA will select approximately 100 people among consumers who will have made and uploaded short-form videos about floury rice-baked goods on their SNS accounts after purchasing them. The selected consumers will be awarded a maximum of KRW one million as a prize.
