The ROK Expands Export Markets for Agricultural Inputs and Veterinary Medical Products to Turkey and the UAE
Sejong, 17 November 2025— The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) of the Republic of Korea will operate a Korean pavilion at Growtech Antalya 2025—the world’s leading international agricultural trade fair—to be held in Antalya in the Republic of Türkiye on 18 November, as well as at VIV MEA 2025 Abu Dhabi—the world’s leading animal husbandry trade fair—to be held in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 25 November.
Through the Korean pavilions at the international trade fairs, the MAFRA will promote the excellence of the Republic of Korea’s agricultural equipment, agricultural inputs, and veterinary medical products to overseas buyers and pave the way for Korean exporters to enter the markets of Europe and the Middle East.
Growtech Antalya 2025 is an international exhibition where exhibitors coming from around the world showcase and promote the latest agricultural technologies and products in agricultural machinery, food processing, and packaging. Approximately 680 companies from 31 countries are expected to participate in the exhibition, with approximately 40,000 agriculture-related attendees. Given the Republic of Türkiye’s geographical location, the trade fair is expected to offer an opportunity for Korean exporters to expand exchanges with buyers from both Europe and Asia.
VIV MEA 2025 Abu Dhabi is one of the largest international animal husbandry trade fairs in the Middle East, where the latest technologies in animal husbandry, as well as feed additives and livestock equipment are exhibited and promoted. Approximately 500 companies from 50 countries are expected to participate in the trade fair, with approximately 10,000 buyers from 114 countries. As the leading animal husbandry trade fair in the Middle East, VIV MEA 2025 Abu Dhabi is expected to help Korean exporters secure a wide range of business connections across the Middle East and Africa.
The MAFRA will provide full support for Korean exporters to produce tangible export results, such as MOU signing and conclusion of purchase agreements. To this end, the MAFRA will operate a joint promotional booth, collaborate with local consulting agencies to identify genuine buyers, and provide professional interpreters for one-on-one buyers-exporters meetings.
Director Jeong-ho Seo of the Agri-business Export Promotion Division of the MAFRA said: “Through these two trade fairs, we will have the opportunity to directly showcase the excellence of Korean agricultural equipment, agricultural inputs, and veterinary medical products to global buyers. We will continue to expand our support for the Korean agro-industry so that such exports can increase further.”
