To encourage dissemination of healthy dietary life by supplying healthy and quality foods and to secure national nutritional safety net with fruit snacks, etc.
To expand supply of fruit snacks
Pilot project to supply fruit snacks to elementary school students at after-school programs (240,000 students) to improve dietary life of children and expand the consumption of seasonal fruits
To provide fruits snacks processed at facilities complying with the HACCP in a cup, etc. of 150g per person (more than once a week, 30 times a year)
To lay the legal basis for providing fruit snacks in sustainable and stable manner by revising the Support of Diet Education Act (in Sep. 2018)
To establish stably supply system to expand the supply of fruit snacks while reviewing further expansion of the project through consultation with relevant ministries
To build the supply chain of fresh fruits by collaborating with local processors so that they can process and provide locally-grown fruits (by metropolitan region)
To strengthen training and promotion of safety management including ways to store and eat fresh fruits to prevent safety risks
To promote healthy dietary life
To expand the basis for dietary life education and disseminate contents by establishing the '3rd framework plan for dietary life education (2020 – 2024)' and a comprehensive platform
To analyze the performance and limitations of previous dietary life programs and set up the 3rd framework plan to provide the basis for implementing sustainable dietary life policy
To build a comprehensive platform for dietary life education to comprehensively manage and provide dietary life educational content and share information on dietary life policies and exemplary cases
