Implementation of Quarantine Measures against African Swine Fever (Major Duties)
(Prevention of African Swine Fever) To conduct preemptive prevention measures such as compartmentalization of wild boars, control of vehicles, pigs, manure, designation of quarantine control zone of ASF and establishment of more stringent quarantine facilities, etc.
(Addressing the ASF Outbreak) Effectively prevent spreading and dispersion of ASF virus through prompt quarantine measures such as restriction of movement, precision inspection, and slaughtering, etc.
(Management of Poor Quarantine Farms) Improve quarantine capacity and awareness of farms with poor quarantine control such as farms near wild boars and farms hiring foreign workers, etc.
(Simulated Quarantine Training) Simulate an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease and carry out 3-stage training (computer training → field training → evaluation) to foster prompt response ability
