Project Performance
Until 2020, 109,500 ha (80.3%) out of total project target of 136,400 ha has been completed and largely contributed to establishing a safe agricultural basis against draught
In 2021, KRW 251.1 billion will be put in place to complete 4,200 ha (accumulated 83.4%)
Future Plans
In order to react to climate change such as increasing draughts, a stable agricultural water supply basis will be established to cover 80% of irrigated rice paddy by 2030
By considering the impact of climate change, to investigate and analyze supply and demand of agricultural water in farming villages, and promote rational distribution of agricultural water according to the Agricultural Water Usage Rationalization Plan (December 2014) which has been set based on the analysis result
