Securing Bulky Feed Production Basis
Purpose of Implementing Policy
- Utilizing production and use of domestic bulky feed to increase competitiveness of livestock industry by reducing production cost, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Farmers: Agricultural farmhouses and livestock industry registered farms that breed domestic herbivores such as cattle and dairy cows
- Agricultural corporations: Agricultural cooperatives and agricultural corporations established according to the Framework Act on Agricultural and Fisheries Industries, Agricultural and Fisheries Villages and Food Industry (in this project, corporations participating in production and use of bulky feed, hereinafter referred to as "business entities")
- Agricultural corporations (agricultural cooperatives and agricultural corporations) shall meet the requirements in Article 35.9 and asterisk 6 of the basic regulations for financial business management in agricultural and livestock food sector
- Producers’ groups: Regional agricultural, livestock, dairy cooperatives and Korean beef unions, etc. established according to the Agricultural Unions Act
- Non-profit corporations permitted by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs according to Article 32 of the Civil Law
Project Overview
- Support Contents: Silage production cost, seed purchasing, grassland establishment, machines and equipment, fertilizer cost, long distance distribution cost, processing and distribution facilities, building professional complex, etc.
- 2021 Project Cost: KRW 78,948 million (Subsidy 76,444, loans 2,504)
